And The Best Rural Business Winner is...

A fabulous result for us at The Scottish Woman’s Enterprise Awards in Glasgow when the café picked up the award for The Best Rural Based Business. We were treated to a glittering awards evening packed full of representatives and owners from a diverse and broad cross section of industries, all owned and run by woman and an inspiring keynote speech from Wendy Hallett. 
 
Our award was presented by John Finch, Head of the Adam Smith Business School and Professor of Marketing at Glasgow University.
 
The award recognises the unique challenges a remote business has to deal with and the isolation the owner can encounter. The Scottish Woman’s Enterprise is a network aimed at supporting, inspiring and encouraging women in business.
