The Real Food Cafe has entered its colourful era.

Bursting with colour and playful detail, our new mural has been designed to capture the people, places and experiences that have made The Real Food Cafe a much loved stop for over 20 years.

Our Cafe Manager, Alex, we as treated to a once-in-a-lifetime visit to Norway to experience first hand the country’s fishing culture and heritage following our win at the 2026 Fish and Chip Awards. 

We are absolutely delighted to share that The Real Food Cafe has been named winner of the Sustainability Award at the Highlands & Islands Food & Drink Awards (HIFADA) 2026. 

We are delighted to announce that The Real Food Cafe in Tyndrum, has once again secured its place among the UK’s top fish and chip shops by achieving the prestigious NFFF Quality Accreditation.

Sustainability underpins every decision we make, from how we source our ingredients to how we look after our team, our community and the area around us. To be recognised nationally for that is so incredibly meaningful to us.

We have launched our 2025 festive menu, featuring the return of our cult favourite, Deep-Fried Brussels Sprouts, that became a nationwide media sensation when they first launched two years ago.

It's time to celebrate as we have just been announced as one of the Top 3 finalists in the UK for the Environmental and Sustainable Business Award at the National Fish & Chip Awards 2026.
