We have some delightful news to share!

Our fabulous baker, Kat, has just launched the sale of Heather Hills Farm jams that you’ve enjoyed with our freshly baked scones (raspberry, plain and cheese) for a while now.

Starting today, you can purchase retail jars of their scrumptious blackcurrant and raspberry jams right here at The Real Food Café!

Scrumptious display of raspberry, plain and cheese scones in baskets displayed on a table next to some other traybakes and small plastic pots of heather hills jam and portions of butter to go with the scones. Made at The Real Food Cafe in Tyndrum

A Taste of Heather Hills Farm

Heather Hills Farm, based in Blairgowrie, Perthshire, has been crafting exceptional products since 1945. What began with just one bee hive has evolved into a thriving enterprise with 1,300 hives and 52 million honey bees!

While Heather Hills Farm is renowned for its honey, they also produce award-winning jams and preserves.

Supporting Local and Scottish Farmers

The bees from Heather Hills Farm are crucial to the fruit growing process, as they pollinate the crops used in their jams. This not only supports the farm but also helps sustain the Perthshire fruit farms that are vital to our local agriculture.

Unfortunately, the number of fruit farms in the Blairgowrie area has dwindled from 250 to just 15, with three family farms closing last year alone. This stark statistic underscores the importance of supporting local businesses and Scottish farmers.

We’re incredibly proud to partner with Heather Hills Farm and support their commitment to quality and sustainability.
