Meet Our Cheese Suppliers: Ballochmyle Fine Cheese

It was an absolute pleasure to meet our cheese suppliers, the passionate cheesemakers, Dorothy and Robert, from Ballochmyle Fine Cheese in Ayrshire, who came to visit us the other day.

They have been working tirelessly to meet our demands for cheese during the busy summer season, whilst continuing to provide exceptional service to their other customers.

One of the unique aspects of their operation is that they source all their milk from Dorothy's brother, who lives just 5 miles away from them. They even pasteurize the milk themselves, creating a truly artisan and handcrafted Scottish product. And let's not forget the most important part – their cheese is utterly delicious!

But it doesn't stop there. These remarkable cheese producers also supply their products to various top-notch establishments, including Dumfries House. They also recently had the honour of meeting King Charles at a champagne reception. Their artisanal cheese is clearly fit for royalty.

Their visit couldn't go without tasting our award winning fish & chips and their delicious Brie. We paired it with Great Glen Charcuterie and Arran Fine Foods Shop onion marmalade. For a complete experience, we washed it all down with a sip of IrnBru.

It was a gathering of food enthusiasts, and we couldn't resist sharing our joy and laughter. We're already looking forward to their next visit.
