You've heard it first, we've introduced new tasty additions to our menu!
Don't worry, all our staples and your favourites like our famous award-winning fish & chips and Scottish breakfast are still on the menu and are here to stay. We've simply added a few newbies to the mix to keep things fresh and exciting. This also means we started working with some new local suppliers.

Working with Local Suppliers
At The Real Food Cafe, we're passionate about using high-quality ingredients and sourcing locally whenever possible & feasible. We adhere to the highest standards. We believe in supporting local businesses and being conscious of our environmental impact. The long-lasting relationships we’ve cultivated with suppliers, along with our stubborn insistence on procuring only the finest ingredients, are a huge part of why we have the reputation we do today. The Real Food Cafe Menu Newbies
Breakfast
Breakfast lovers, you're in for a treat with our venison lorne sausage and eggs or our hearty porridge served with honey, seeds, and nuts.
Hot Filled Rolls
For those looking for something quick and satisfying, our hot filled rolls are the perfect choice. Try our new venison lorne sausage roll or mix it up and add additional fillings to make your ideal roll.
Our rolls are served until 5pm apart from our mouthwatering hearty new Pulled Pork roll stuffed with coleslaw which is served from 11am until close.
Soup
Soup lovers, we've added homemade Mara Seaweed soda bread scones that are served with our fish chowder to give it an extra burst of flavour.
Burgers
Burger munchers, get ready to sink your teeth into our Tandoori Chicken Burger served with mango chutney, coriander salsa, and a bright red seeded beetroot bun, or indulge in The Chipologist Burger, a gourmet double cheeseburger with bacon and black pudding.
Fish
You love fish & chips but feel like you should mix it up a little? We've got you covered, try our smoked haddock fishcakes served with chips and our homemade tartare sauce.
Loaded Chips
Our meaty chips are back by popular demand and loaded with pulled pork, cheese, crispy onions, jalapeños, and BBQ sauce. Or choose our vegetarian option with cheese, crispy onions, jalapeños, red pepper & sweet chill sauce.
New Flavours & Meat-Free Options
Who doesn't like melted cheese? Indulge in Melted Ballochmyle brie served with chips, brown bread, Great Glen venison salami and salad. Make it meat-free with no salami.
If you're looking for a hearty meat-free dish, we've got just what you're after. Our Chickpea Curry is served with chips and cooling yoghurt. Deliciously filling and comforting option on those dreich days spent outdoors.
Sauces
Sauce enthusiasts, you won't be disappointed with our homemade BBQ Sauce and Beetroot Ketchup. You can order them on the side or find them in some of our burgers and rolls by default. "Our" beetroot ketchup has even made it to The Great Sausage Roll-off competition"
We've also improved our Curry Sauce recipe for those who can't go without chips & curry sauce.
During festivities, special occasions and holidays we also bake cakes & traybakes in addition to our already wide regular selection of baked goodies.
