The Real Food Cafe Was Shortlisted for the Great Outdoors Magazine TGO Reader Awards 2022

Our Tyndrum cafe has been shortlisted for the Great Outdoors Magazine TGO Reader Awards 2022 in the Walkers' Cafe or Restaurant of the Year category.

Now it is up to the outdoorgoing public who decide the winner and you can vote for us at https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/TGvote22/ (our cafe is on page 3). 

The Real Food Cafe is among 10 other UK-based businesses offering sit-down dining (from chippies upwards). We are incredibly proud to be on the shortlist because it means that we were nominated by the outdoorgoing public who enjoy visiting us during their outdoor adventures. 

Every year, our Tyndrum roadside diner serves thousands of West Highland Way walkers, munro baggers, cyclists and many other adventurers from all over the world passing through Tyndrum. They stop for a hearty breakfast, quick lunch, coffee & a slice of homemade cake or a rewarding portion of our award-winning fish & chips or Scotch beef burgers. We enjoy catering to them and listening to their stories when we can. 

The Great Outdoors Reader Awards are the UK’s democratic celebration of the best of outdoor culture. They first launched eleven years ago. All of the nominations are submitted by the outdoorgoing public, who also decide the winners. The shortlists in the 15 categories represent the most inspirational personalities, organisations and businesses in the outdoor world. 

In the 2018 TGO Reader Awards, The Real Food Cafe took Silver in the same category. This year, we're aiming for gold and would appreciate it if you could vote for us. 

The nominee with the most votes in each category will receive a Winner award and the nominees with the second and third most votes will both receive a Commended accolade.
