Dates Announced for Pick N Chips Litterpicking Season 2026
Can you believe that we're already in our 6th season of Pick N Chips Litterpicking? We can't either!
Since launching our first community litterpick in 2020, The Real Food Cafe has proudly brought people together to protect the stunning Scottish landscape we all love. Now, after 41 events, 446 volunteers, and over 8 tonnes of litter collected, our Pick N Chips programme continues to grow — and we’d love you to be part of it because sadly, the litter problem isn't going away.
What Is Pick N Chips?
Pick N Chips is our simple but powerful idea. We meet up, we clean up and we eat up.
Volunteers join us in Tyndrum for a friendly, inclusive litter-picking session, followed by a well‑earned shared meal (yes, fish & chips are involved and they are on us!).
Everyone is welcome — families, first‑timers, visitors, and locals alike. All equipment is provided just bring sturdy boots, gloves and suitable clothing.

All events run from 12pm – 2pm, with coffee & cake on arrival served from 11.30.
