The Cafe Runs Devil of the Highlands Charity Raffle for Toilet Twinning
We're excited to announce that we're running a Devil of the Highlands charity raffle to celebrate the 19th season of the Devil o' the Highlands Footrace on 12th August. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to Toilet Twinning.
The Devil o' the Highlands Footrace is a 42 mile (69 km) point-to-point ultramarathon along the Official West Highland Way starting in Tyndrum and finishing in Fort William. Racers have 12 hours to complete the race without much support at all.
The raffle prize is themed - an individually numbered bottle of award winning Devil’s Staircase Spiced Highland Gin by Pixel Spirits and a meal voucher for two at The Real Food Cafe in Tyndrum. We can post the prize anywhere in the UK if you're unable to collect it.
Raffle tickets cost £1 each and you can get 6 for £5. Tickets are available for purchase from any of our front of house staff at the Cafe anytime until Saturday 12 August.
The winning number will be drawn by John Duncan, the Devil of the Highlands Race Director, on Sunday 13th and we'll announce it via our social media, so keep an eye out. We're on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.
Toilet Twinning builds loos for schools and communities in Malawi that don’t have such "luxuries". Together we've already built 135 toilets and our goal is to reach 200!
The race is fully booked for this year but you can find out more about it at https://www.devilothehighlandsfootrace.co.uk
