We're beyond proud to announce that we've been shortlisted for two awards in Scotland's Premier Tourism & Events Awards called the Thistle Awards. 

We are beyond thrilled that the Real Food Cafe Tyndrum has once again gained its place amongst the UK’s top fish and chip shops by achieving the prestigious NFFF Quality Accreditation sponsored by Sarsons Vinegar.

We have once again been recognised as one of the UK’s Top 30 Best Places to Work in Hospitality for 2024, marking the second year in a row the café has received the prestigious accolade. 

We were placed at number 23 on the list, up from 24 last year.

Forth Valley Food Futures and Forth Valley Food and Drink developed UK’s first social impact auditing tool for the food and drink industry which aims to inspire the sector to prioritise sustainability, foster community engagement and uphold ethical working practices. Since we're committed to 'doing business for good', we obviously had to participate in the pilot. 

Gluten Free Fortnight returns to The Real Food Cafe from 11th to 25th April with an expanded special gluten free menu including the best of Scottish classics all made in a gluten free environment and safe for anyone with coeliac disease.

Last year we collected over 205 sacks of litter from our surroundings and because litter is sadly not going anywhere, it's time we announced the dates of our planned 'Pick n' Chips: meet up, clean up, and eat up' community litterpicks for 2024. 

We're beyond thrilled to have won Staff Training and Development Award at National Federation of Fish Friers National Fish & Chip Awards 2024. We couldn't be prouder of our team!

This award recognises excellence in developing staff teams’ skills and qualifications. It is a great recognition of all the work we do to make sure our team members have plenty of opportunities to learn and evolve in the workplace as well as our dedication to become the BEST possible employer.

Across the Board there was one clear winner.

We are so proud and humbled to announce that we became 'Business of the Year' at the inaugural Stirling Business Excellence Awards held by STEP in partnership with The Scotsman.

We're over the moon and honoured to announce that our Tyndrum Café defended the title of The Great Outdoors (TGO) Magazine's Best Walkers' Café of the Year!

We're excited to announce that after a short closure to modernise, we're back. 

We are pretty chuffed with the result and hope you like it too.
